A Rant and a Plan

I have decided that I’m doing both types of writing. Blogging here and my morning practice.

I am a writer after all. What kind of writer would I be if I didn’t make the time to do the type of writing I WANT to do.

Not only do I want to do this kind of writing. More than that, I don’t want to have to do the writing. I think that makes sense?

I’ve recently been away for a while. In case you were wondering, I went crawling back to my ex…morning journal.

My plan is to attack the lack of work I’ve been doing with getting work done.

No longer will forgetfulness and laziness get in the way. Or at least not for a little while. I have a lot of work to do and need to catch up. I can use those excuses after I publish for a month.

Becoming something that we aren’t requires us to experiment and explore.

I wanted to become a writer, so I created a blog. I was talking about making a blog and used all these bullish excuses to get in the way of that.

I don’t have time. I don’t have a website. I don’t have a domain. I don’t have an audience. I don’t have an idea. I don’t have this and I don’t have that.

What I had was a desire and a need to write.

So, here I am.

I’ve talked about my plans to write more frequently ad nauseam. I’ve explored writing exclusively here on the blog. And I know I can write my journal.

I haven’t been able to crack the morning pages and blogging at the same time, in earnest.

So here is my plan:

I’ll be writing out blog posts for the entire week and queueing them for post throughout the week.

I briefly touched on using this whole technology thing to my advantage a little while back. And the strategy that I used didn’t work.

Time to implement a new strategy.
